Offering Lessons in Scottish fiddle, Irish fiddle, bouzouki, and Scots Gaelic song.

I went to school at the University of South Carolina and graduated with a Music performance degree. I have taught at camps such as: Fiddle Hell Massachusetts, Acadia Trad School, Upper Potomac Music, MAD Week. Teaching has always been a big part of what I do with my music. I currently have about 20 students who are learning from me in their chosen style of Scottish or Irish music. In addition to study of each style with techniques associated, I always supplement lessons with a bit of music theory, history/culture, etc. With my classical background, I know exactly how to break everything down and explain concepts in various different ways so that everyone will get it! I prefer to work with adult students and kids over the age of 12. I offer 45 minute lessons and 1 hour.
