Hello! I am currently offering 30 minute and 1 hour online fiddle lessons via Zoom. I play traditional English fiddle music and I really enjoy helping my students to expand their fiddler's tool kit (including bowing techniques, groove and pulse, ornamentation and repertoire hunting) that they need to be able to get these old tunes off the page and into the air!

I am an experienced workshop leader and one-to-one teacher in English music, having been the Artistic Director of the National Youth Folk Ensemble for three years, taught on the English Acoustic Collective Summer School for eight years, Folkworks Summer Schools and co-directed the Soundpost Fiddle Weekend, not to mention a regular roster of online pupils.
