Want to try out accordion for the first time, or expand the skills you already have? Want to learn in an inspiring, nurturing environment that challenges you but also cheers you on? Have you been playing for a while, but feel like you need new ideas? I have a rich background of teaching experience, having worked with all ages in individual lessons as well as large groups. That, combined with the intense performance experience of a full-time touring schedule that has taken me all over North America and abroad, has equipped me with a wealth of pedagogy and repertoire. I am committed to listening to the needs and goals of each individual student. We can work on right hand technique, left hand strategies, bellows control, repertoire expansion, music theory, ensemble ideas, contra dance/English country dance/French bal folk dance styles, and more!

Katherine Forbes is the founder of Nashville based website and brand design company, Designing the Row. Her client roster has grown to include GRAMMY Nominated & Award Winning Artists, New York Times Best Selling Authors, Film Composers, Reality TV Personalities, & many more! She is known for her clean and simple design style and is recognized as a Squarespace Expert and Squarespace Authorized Trainer. She is also the creator of music community, Music Biz Besties, and teaches digital music marketing as an adjunct professor at ETSU.

Her work has been featured on Forbes.com and she’s spoken on panels hosted by YELP, the Music Business Association, Women in Music, and many others.
