Singer/songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist from Glasgow, Scotland.
Guitar and song are my main areas of focus, I do however teach fiddle/ mandolin at varying levels, depending on the instrument.

I have various methods for teaching but for me it depends on how the student feels, I try to be as open as possible.

I teach mainly by ear but some theory is often present in my teachings.

I am a songwriter mainly and can share my approaches to this, regardless of your genre. I have a few tunes of my own under my belt too.

I'm often writing strings for my own music (fiddle and cello) more often for other players to play and so my background in compostion may be of use to those seeking to arrange music.
