Hola! My name is María and I teach Spanish fiddle music! You will learn the styles of Galicia, Castilla, the Basque country, Cantabria and even flamenco from southern Spain. Spanish music is a great way to improve your rhythmic sense, and you will enjoy discovering a whole new world of fun tune styles!
I would love to teach you my “clap method”. Very simple but enlightening way to learn how to groove and move your hips! Finding your own sound as a fiddler is a life’s work. I will guide you through this process using emotional and violin techniques that will give you all the tools you need to shape your own style and playing. My love for music pedagogy allows me to bring all these things to all levels.
