Hi friends, I am a multi-instrumentalist and All Ireland Champion singer based in DC. Although I have a background in classical piano and a degree in jazz studies, nowadays I perform mostly Irish traditional music, while maintaining a strong interest in Early Music and choral singing.

I believe that music is fundamentally about people. Music deepens our emotions and memories, and makes our lives more meaningful. The story of music is the story of human connection. It is this connection that I hope to foster and spread through teaching and performing music.

I offer lessons in Irish traditional music on the tin whistle, tenor banjo, mandolin, and bouzouki; as well as lessons in any style for guitar, piano and voice.

I emphasize EAR TRAINING and MUSIC THEORY to strengthen your understanding of all kinds of music; as well as building correct physical TECHNIQUE, through maximizing relaxation and efficiency of motion.
