As an educator, I believe that each individual student is different in their needs and in the approach that I need to take. I'll take the first couple lessons to learn how to best approach your education and then work to tailor your lessons to achieve your goals in a way that works for you! I'm open to students of any age and any level. I generally conduct 60 minute lessons, but I also offer 30 or 45 minute slots. I'm a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, and I've been a teacher of these instruments in both complete beginner and advanced classes at the Ashokan Fiddle and Dance weeks during Western and Swing Week, Northern Week, Southern Week, Family Week, and their New Years Weekend. I've also worked as a performer with my contra dance band Live Wire, and performing extensively with Jay Ungar and Molly Mason.
