I teach Irish traditional music on uilleann pipes, tin whistle, and bodhran. I've been teaching students on all three of these instruments for over a decade, and specialize in the uilleann pipes. Teaching in both private and group lessons, I spend an hour with the student(s) on tunes, technique, rhythm and phrasing, as well as the history of the music and the various exponents of their instruments. I teach with a holistic approach, exposing students to more than just their chosen instrument via recordings and live examples. I teach all ages, but have the most experience with adult learners.
