A standard bearer for the rich fiddling tradition of the Shetland Islands, Kevin Henderson has been in the vanguard of the Scottish traditional music scene for decades as a member Fiddlers' Bid, Boys of the Lough, Session A9 , Nordic Fiddlers Bloc and the Kevin Henderson & Neil Pearlman Duo. Kevin enjoys passing on his fiddle skills through fiddle camps, including those organised by Nordic Fiddlers Bloc, Danish fiddler Harald Haugaard and California-based Scottish fiddle master Alasdair Fraser, and one-to-one sessions as well as online private fiddle lessons. A very patient teacher who gives students a good grounding in them in regards to style, ornaments, bowing and general feel of the music being taught. Technique is also an area Kevin is asked to teach often. He offers 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons.
