I have been teaching guitar for over 10 years in both group and private settings. I specialize in Celtic style guitar accompaniment, but can also cover pop, rock, and many other styles. I tend to intertwine lots of simple theory into my lessons, as I find it will bolster the growth of your playing greatly. I can show you that theory is a lot easier than you thought.
For banjo players, I will focus on new tunes every lesson or two, and break them down into easy to learn parts. I tend to use chord arrangements for each tune, in order to give them some musical context and make learning them more exciting.
