Hello! I am a Scottish musician and composer offering tuition in a variety of areas. My primary background is in Celtic Folk Music but I also have broad experience playing other styles including jazz and classical. Lessons are tailored to suit the student's goals and many areas can be focused on: exploring new repertoire, developing technique, composition/arranging/theory, trad piano accompaniment, and any other topics that would like to be pursued. I love to hear student's particular interests!
Teaching experience includes: piano instruction at Riverside Music College (Glasgow, Scotland), piping tuition at the Scots College (Sydney, Australia), the Italian Spring Piping School, the National Piping Centre, Outreach Projects across Scotland with the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland and Feis nan Gaidheal.
I studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for both a Bachelor and Master's in Traditional Music which included a semester at the Royal College of Music (Stockholm, Sweden).
